A Solid Foundation Forges a Strong Company
When running a business, it is vital to trust your employees. Give them the tools they need to work, and then monitor them as they deliver results. I deliberately delegate and have very strong accounting and field management teams to keep operations running smoothly. We let our employees in the field make decisions and take responsibility for those decisions. Set the expectation that if someone makes a mistake, they own up to it. When they share the information about what went wrong, we deal with it together.
